Program & Expectations
Clear phases, compassionate accountability, and daily routines that make recovery feel safe —and achievable.
Phased Pathway & How It Works
At Our House Recovery Homes, we believe that structure builds freedom.
Our phase system helps residents progress through recovery with accountability, consistency, and growth — one step at a time. Each phase is designed to support residents as they rebuild trust, independence, and confidence in their sobriety.
Buddy System
We understand that the first week in a new environment can feel overwhelming. That’s why we created a Buddy System to promote comfort, accountability, and connection from day one.

During the initial week, a Phase 2 or Phase 3 resident who has shown consistency and responsibility will accompany the new resident when leaving the premises, helping them learn routines, expectations, and local resources.

This system helps new residents:

-
Build relationships within the community
-
Learn structure and daily routines
-
Stay accountable while adjusting
-
Feel supported and never alone

As long as daily chores, program attendance, clean living spaces, and house rules are consistently maintained, the new resident will move up to Phase 2 after the first week.
Phase One: Foundation
Structured routine, buddy support, daily chores, and full program participation to build stability.
Growth
Phase 2 represents a period of personal growth and increased independence. Once a resident has reached Phase 2, they have earned the privilege to come and go without the Buddy System, demonstrating trust and accountability within the program.

Residents in this phase are expected to continue meeting all Phase 1 responsibilities, including attending all programs and treatments on time, completing house chores, and maintaining a clean and respectful living environment.

Curfew remains in place to support structure and consistency — 10:00 PM Sunday through Thursday and 12:00 AM on Friday and Saturday.

Phase 2 is about balance — developing independence while maintaining the structure, discipline, and accountability that support lasting recovery.
Phase Two: Growth
More independence, no buddy system, continued accountability, and set curfews.
A Leadership Role
Phase 3 is the highest level in our program and represents continued leadership and responsible independence. Residents in this phase set the tone for the home — leading by example and showing newcomers what accountability and maturity in recovery truly look like.

Phase 3 mirrors the structure of Phase 2 but includes additional privileges, such as a one-hour curfew extension and overnight passes with 24-hour advanced notice and approval.

Residents in this phase have demonstrated consistent responsibility, adherence to the daily routine, and a genuine commitment to their recovery journey.

Phase 3 embodies what it means to live with integrity, balance, and leadership — preparing residents for lasting success beyond sober living.
Phase Three: Independence
Leads by example, earns added privileges like later curfew and overnight passes, showing consistent responsibility.
At any time and in any phase, if a resident shows they are unable to uphold house rules, complete daily chores, attend required programming, or consistently meet curfew, a verbal warning will be issued.

If these behaviors continue, the resident will be moved back to Phase 1 to rebuild accountability. Should there still be no improvement after this reset, the resident will be asked to pack their belongings and transition to an alternative sober living environment.

At Our House Recovery Homes, we strive for excellence and meaningful growth. Our goal is to cultivate a sustainable, sober lifestyle built on integrity, accountability, and self-respect.
